Emergency Response
There are multiple ways to heal an injury. The R.I.C.E. policy will help heal an injury overtime. However, if the injury is to bad, you will need surgery and that depends on what injury you have.
R.I.C.E.:
RICE stands for Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.
First Priority:
There are four main things that you need to take care of first in order to make sure the person who is injured is alright. First, of course, you need to check if their breathing. If they are not breathing preform CPR immediately. If that procedure does not work then you need to call the paramedics immediately. If they are breathing you need to see if they are bleeding. If they are bleeding, put pressure on the wound and then wrap the wound up. Next check if there is damage to the spine. If there is make sure the person does not move or try to move. If they move this may cause major injury to the spine. Finally you need to find out what the injury is. Once you figure this out you or someone else will call the paramedics and you can assess what the injury is.
